Hippocrepis atlantica merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Afrika barat laut. Nama ilmiah Hippocrepis atlantica pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Ball pada tahun 1873.
