Hippocrepis emerus subsp. emeroides merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Mediterania tengah dan timur hingga Kaukasia. Nama ilmiah Hippocrepis emerus subsp. emeroides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 1989.
