Hippomane mancinella L.

Hippomane mancinella adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Florida Keys, Karibia, Meksiko, Venezuela utara, hingga Galápagos. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan manchineel. Nama ilmiah Hippomane mancinella pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carolus Linnaeus dalam Species Plantarum tahun 1753.
