Hiraea faginea merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Malpighiaceae yang memiliki pola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Amerika. Nama ilmiah Hiraea faginea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Olof Peter Swartz pada tahun 1906.
