Hirtella barnebyi merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Chrysobalanaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil (Rondônia). Nama ilmiah Hirtella barnebyi diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Ghillean Tolmie Prance pada tahun 1981.
