Hirtella pendula merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Chrysobalanaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Lesser Antilles. Nama ilmiah Hirtella pendula pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Daniel Solander pada tahun 1789.
