Hoffmannseggia tenella adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Texas. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan slender rushpea. Nama ilmiah Hoffmannseggia tenella pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Benjamin Carroll Tharp pada tahun 1936.
