Holocheilus illustris adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Brazil selatan hingga Argentina (Misiones). Nama ilmiah Holocheilus illustris pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis José Mariano da Conceição Vellozo pada tahun 1968.
