Homalium taypau merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Salicaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Pulau Pitcairn. Nama ilmiah Homalium taypau diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Harold St. John pada tahun 1977.
