Hormathophylla spinosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Brassicaceae (suku sawi-sawian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Nama ilmiah Hormathophylla spinosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Philippe Küpfer pada tahun 1974.
