Horsfieldia costulata merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Myristicaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Filipina hingga Sulawesi. Di Indonesia tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan nama kayu ra (Sulawesi). Nama ilmiah Horsfieldia costulata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Friedrich Anton Wilhelm Miquel pada tahun 1897.
