Hoya australis subsp. melanesica merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Apocynaceae yang memiliki pola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kepulauan Solomon hingga Pasifik barat daya. Nama ilmiah Hoya australis subsp. melanesica pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Paul Irwin Forster pada tahun 2008.
