Hoya pruinosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Apocynaceae yang memiliki pola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Papua. Nama ilmiah Hoya pruinosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Ludwig Blume pada tahun 1857.
