Hua gaboni merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Huaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Hua gaboni diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Jean Baptiste Louis Pierre pada tahun 1906.
