Hunga novoguineensis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Chrysobalanaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Pulau Papua bagian timur Papua. Nama ilmiah Hunga novoguineensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ghillean Tolmie Prance pada tahun 1979.
