Huperzia acuta merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Lycopodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Bolivia (La Paz). Nama ilmiah Huperzia acuta mulai dipublikasikan pada tahun 1988.
