Huperzia brachystachys adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan epifit dari famili Lycopodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Afrika barat dan barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Huperzia brachystachys pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Gilbert Baker pada tahun 1968.
