Huperzia dentata merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Lycopodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Azores, Madeira. Nama ilmiah Huperzia dentata diperkenalkan oleh Wilhelm(Guillermo) Gustav(o) Franz(Francis) Herter pada tahun 1985.
