Huperzia occidentalis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Lycopodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Alaska hingga Amerika Serikat barat laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan western clubmoss. Nama ilmiah Huperzia occidentalis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Willard Nelson Clute pada tahun 1991.
