Huperzia schmidtchenii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Lycopodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma pegunungan tropis di wilayah Kolombia. Nama ilmiah Huperzia schmidtchenii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Georg Hans Emmo Wolfgang Hieronymus pada tahun 1985.
