Huperzia sellowiana merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Lycopodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil tenggara dan selatan. Nama ilmiah Huperzia sellowiana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Wilhelm(Guillermo) Gustav(o) Franz(Francis) Herter pada tahun 1987.
