Huperzia sooana adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Lycopodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah RD Kongo. Nama ilmiah Huperzia sooana diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama André Gilles Célestin Lawalrée pada tahun 1985.
