Hydriastele costata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Arecaceae (suku pinang-pinangan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Papua hingga Queensland Utara. Nama ilmiah Hydriastele costata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Frederick Manson Bailey pada tahun 1898.
