Hydriastele microcarpa merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Arecaceae (suku pinang-pinangan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Maluku (Seram). Nama ilmiah Hydriastele microcarpa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Rudolph Herman Christiaan Carel Scheffer pada tahun 2004.
