Hydrocotyle prolifera adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Araliaceae (suku mangkok-mangkokan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika Serikat bagian timur dan selatan hingga Amerika tengah, Kuba, Puerto Rico. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan whorled marshpennywort. Nama ilmiah Hydrocotyle prolifera diperkenalkan oleh Albert Kellogg pada tahun 1854.
