Hydrolea sansibarica merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Hydroleaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Tanzania (termasuk Zanzibar). Nama ilmiah Hydrolea sansibarica diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Ernest Friedrich Gilg pada tahun 1895.
