Hypericum canariense merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Hypericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Madeira, Kepulauan Kanaria. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan canary island st. johnswort. Nama ilmiah Hypericum canariense diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carolus Linnaeus pada tahun 1753.
