Hypericum densiflorum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Hypericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat timur. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan bushy st. johnswort. Nama ilmiah Hypericum densiflorum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Frederick Traugott Pursh pada tahun 1813.
