Hypericum denticulatum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Hypericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari New York (Pulau Long) hingga Tennessee selatan-tengah dan Alabama (Pulau Dauphin). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan coppery st. johnswort. Nama ilmiah Hypericum denticulatum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Thomas Walter pada tahun 1788.
