Hypericum elegans merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Hypericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa tengah hingga Siberia tengah dan Türkiye. Nama ilmiah Hypericum elegans pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christian Friedrich Stephan pada tahun 1803.
