Hypericum frondosum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Hypericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika Serikat bagian tenggara hingga Texas. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan cedarglade st. johnswort. Nama ilmiah Hypericum frondosum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis André Michaux pada tahun 1803.
