Hypericum parvulum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu kecil dari famili Hypericaceae yang memiliki siklus hidup semusim (annual). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko utara (hingga Nayarit). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan sierra madre st. johnswort. Nama ilmiah Hypericum parvulum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Edward Lee Greene pada tahun 1888.
