Hypericum pratense adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim atau menahun dari famili Hypericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko tengah hingga Nikaragua. Nama ilmiah Hypericum pratense pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Diederich Franz Leonhard von Schlechtendal pada tahun 1830.
