Hypochaeris angustifolia merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Maroko (Pegunungan Atlas). Nama ilmiah Hypochaeris angustifolia diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama René Verriet de Litardière pada tahun 1926.
