Hypochaeris arenaria adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Chili tengah dan selatan, Argentina selatan, hingga Kepulauan Falkland. Nama ilmiah Hypochaeris arenaria diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Charles Gaudichaud-Beaupré pada tahun 1825.
