Hypochaeris chondrilloides merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Chili utara hingga Argentina. Nama ilmiah Hypochaeris chondrilloides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Asa Gray pada tahun 1944.
