Hypochaeris microcephala adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika Selatan bagian barat hingga Brazil selatan dan Argentina bagian utara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan smallhead cat's ear. Nama ilmiah Hypochaeris microcephala diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Heinrich "Bipontinus" Schultz pada tahun 1937.
