Hypoestes cancellata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Cape Verde, kawasan tropis Afrika. Nama ilmiah Hypoestes cancellata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck pada tahun 1847.
