Hypolepis urbani merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Dennstaedtiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Rep. Dominika, Puerto Rico. Nama ilmiah Hypolepis urbani pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Guido Georg Wilhelm Brause pada tahun 1913.
