Hypoxis decumbens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Hypoxidaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga kawasan tropis Amerika. Nama ilmiah Hypoxis decumbens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carolus Linnaeus dalam Species Plantarum tahun 1759.
