Hypoxis oblonga adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Hypoxidaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk akar rimpang. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Provinsi Cape timur hingga KwaZulu-Natal. Nama ilmiah Hypoxis oblonga pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Gert Cornelius Nel pada tahun 1914.
