Hypoxis villosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Hypoxidaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Afrika Selatan. Nama ilmiah Hypoxis villosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Linnaeus the Younger pada tahun 1782.
