Hyptis pulegioides adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim atau menahun dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan tropis Amerika. Nama ilmiah Hyptis pulegioides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johann Baptist Emanuel Pohl pada tahun 1833.
