Hyptis recurvata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko selatan, kawasan tropis Amerika selatan, hingga Trinidad. Nama ilmiah Hyptis recurvata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Pierre Antoine Poiteau pada tahun 1806.
