Hysterionica resinosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul) hingga Argentina timur laut. Nama ilmiah Hysterionica resinosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Curt Polycarp Joachim Sprengel pada tahun 2020.
