Ichnanthus leptophyllus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil utara dan timur laut. Nama ilmiah Ichnanthus leptophyllus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johann Christoph Döll pada tahun 1877.
