Ichthyothere hirsuta adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kolombia (Casanare, Meta), Bolivia timur hingga Brazil tengah. Nama ilmiah Ichthyothere hirsuta diperkenalkan oleh George Gardner pada tahun 1844.
