Ichthyothere rufa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Bolivia timur hingga Brazil tengah. Nama ilmiah Ichthyothere rufa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Gardner pada tahun 1844.
