Ichthyothere rufa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Bolivia timur hingga Brazil tengah. Nama ilmiah Ichthyothere rufa diperkenalkan oleh George Gardner pada tahun 1844.
