Ichthyothere scandens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Nikaragua hingga Venezuela dan Peru. Nama ilmiah Ichthyothere scandens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Sidney Fay Blake pada tahun 1921.
