Ilex ericoides merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Aquifoliaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kolombia barat hingga Peru. Nama ilmiah Ilex ericoides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ludwig Eduard Theodor Loesener pada tahun 1901.
